It’s seems like God is being taken out of our schools more each day, and Allah is replacing him. A perfect example is happening in a taxpayer funded school in Douglas County, Colorado. The school is forcing students to wear Muslim head coverings during a field trip to local mosque.
The situation came to light after local radio host Peter Boyles said he got a hold of the permission slip sent to parents for the excursion.
The world religions field trip is next Tuesday. We will be visiting the Denver Mosque, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Rodef Shalom Synagogue. We will then eat lunch at Park Meadows Food Court.
Students must either bring a sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at the food court.
THERE IS A DRESS CODE FOR THIS TRIP: All students must wear appropriate long pants. Ankles must be covered. Girls must bring wide scarves or hooded sweatshirts for the mosque.
Boyles is furious about the field trip and it’s rules, as he should be.
“Islam dictates many, I believe “personal belief“ repressive practices against women and Islamophobia will trump womens’ rights. Animal rights every time, and the environment.”
Why are they even visiting a mosque in the first place? If they do not practice that religion, why are they being forced to abide by it’s rules?
According to Boyles, the mosque is the only place students will be visiting that has a strict dress code.
Popular conservative author Pam Geller weighed in on the matter saying,
“Here again we see anywhere American law and Islamic law conflict, it is American law that has to give way.”
Geller adds, “The subjugation and oppression of women are enshrined under the sharia. Young school girls should not be forced to respect a dress code that represents honor violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and child marriage.”
So many keep quiet because they worry about being politically correct or being labeled a bigot. Do you think that atheists cares about the names they will be called when they threaten to sue a school over “Christmas break” or the term”Merry Christmas”? I urge all parents to carefully monitor what your child is being taught, and if you see something like this please, for the love of GOD, speak up!
