INFURIATING Response From EMT After Frantic Mother Calls 911 For Baby

A veteran EMT from Detroit has been terminated from her job after she refused to respond to the scene where an 8-month old baby had stopped breathing.

Ann Marie Thomas, who was less than one mile away, refused her supervisor’s direct order to assist the frantic mother in giving CPR to the infant who had gone into cardiac arrest.

Thomas parked her quick response SUV on the corner of the street and refused to budge, even when receiving news that the child was no longer breathing.

The exchange that took place between Thomas and her supervisor went as follows:

911: “Uh, Romeo 33? Updated information that the child is not breathing. The baby was hooked up to an oxygen machine because it was premature. Romeo 33?”

911: “Romeo 33, Medic 51, be advised CPR is being performed on your scene. Romeo 33, Medic 51. CPR is being performed by the baby’s mother.”

According to reports, Thomas responded to her supervisor saying “I’m not about to be on no scene 10 minutes doing CPR, you know how these families get.”

An ambulance finally arrived on the scene to take the baby to the hospital. The infant was revived, but tragically died the next morning.

Executive Fire Commissioner Edsel Jenkins states that Thomas was immediately removed from duty following this incident, and has since been terminated.

Seriously, what the HELL is wrong with this woman? Not only should she lose her job, but she should be repeatedly throat-punched until her trachea is completely smashed.
